I had an amazing stay at Escape Caribeno! We initially booked another hotel but stumbled upon this gem while exploring Puerto Viejo. We ended up extending our stay to 9 nights because we loved it so much. The location is perfect, not too far and not too close to town, with everything in walking distance. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel like we were staying with friends. The breakfast was delicious and the highlight was having animals like monkeys, frogs, hummingbirds, and even sloths right in our garden. It was truly a unique and memorable experience!

Great location on the ocean front, close to town. Recently built pool with provided towels. Beautifully kept gardens, abundant birdlife, and even a resident sloth. Loved watching the howler monkeys. Bungalow accommodations, A/C, good food, nice pool. Thanks to Argelis for planning activities and being so helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located near the town, allowing easy access to restaurants, shops, and the beach. the staff are friendly and helpful, providing assistance with spotting wildlife and fixing any issues promptly. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with amenities such as air conditioning and a fridge.

The breakfast provided by the hotel is not value for money.

We had a fantastic stay at Escape Caribeno. the bungalow-style accommodations were just what we were looking for, and the location was perfect, close to both downtown and the beach. the property itself was beautiful, with sloths in the trees and a peaceful atmosphere. Argelis, the staff member, went above and beyond to make our trip memorable, helping us with tours and transportation. the amenities were great, including A/C, a nice pool, and mosquito nets if needed.
