Recommended for family adventures

The bungalows provided a cozy space, really spacious with a cute little porch where we could chill after a long day exploring. The staff is super friendly, always ready to help. They even pointed out a sloth just outside our room, which was a highlight for the kids.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but still fits the bill for what we needed.

I enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool and the well-kept garden during my stay. The morning coffee was a nice touch, and I appreciated having my own bungalow with a balcony. It was nice to relax outside and spot some wildlife. The location made it easy to walk to nearby beaches and local shops. One morning, I had breakfast while listening to the sounds of nature around me.

The noise from the street behind the cabin was an issue at times. The hot water in the bathroom was a bit tricky to control.

The well-maintained gardens housed vibrant wildlife, with sloths and colorful birds frequently spotted. The spacious bungalow featured a lovely porch that made mornings relaxing and enjoyable.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and local restaurants, making it convenient to explore the vibrant atmosphere of Puerto Viejo.

One significant downside was the noise from the street right behind the cabin, which disturbed our peace, especially at night.

The bungalows could use a touch of color indoors!!! A more flexible check-in process would be appreciated. The old furnishings made our stay feel less inviting!!!

The beds were comfortable initially, but after a few nights, we experienced back aches due to their lack of support.

Consider enjoying breakfast outside. the hammock is perfect for relaxing in the morning sun while you plan your day.

Staying at this beautiful place with my wife and 5 adult kids was unforgettable! The garden was incredible, lush and vibrant with wildlife. The cozy bungalow offered a lovely balcony where we could relax and enjoy the sound of howler monkeys.

My children wished for better amenities for relaxing after a long day.

Our stay at Escape Caribeño was enchanting. The warm hospitality from our host made us feel at home, while the stunning tropical gardens offered a peaceful escape. We especially adored the lovely porch that provided a perfect spot to unwind, often accompanied by the sight of hummingbirds! Plus, the well-stocked mini fridge was a delightful touch to our experience, allowing us to enjoy drinks while soaking up the atmosphere.

The large seaview cabin provided a serene escape with comfortable beds and a lovely balcony equipped with a hammock, perfect for unwinding. I appreciated the beautifully maintained gardens, filled with tropical plants and wildlife, including howler monkeys. The location was convenient for reaching local bakeries and beaches, though the nearby street occasionally generated noise that disrupted the tranquil atmosphere at night. Dining featured globally inspired dishes, enhancing the experience but leaving me wanting a bit more variety overall.
